Description: We’re so happy to have Fiesta back! La Meseta, proudly presents this coffee as one that represents the happiness and joy of the Colombian people. They say “the ‘Fiesta’ of fantastic aromas and intriguing flavors mirror the happiness and warmth of their land, the colorful cities, and traditions of Colombia”. This lot is produced by smallholder farmers who grow coffee in the Buesaco, El Tambo, and La Unión regions of Nariño. Once this coffee has been delivered to the mill at Compañia Cafetera La Meseta it goes through a 24 hour fermentation and then dries slowly in the sun over 2 weeks. To quote our broker: Their team "cupped it the day it landed (because we couldn’t wait), and then the next day after the roast had time to rest. We can say it’s a perfect example of a Washed Nariño. It’s got the subtle fruity pop and juiciness of Red Apple and Tangerine, and lots of sweetness reminiscent of Brown Sugar and Marshmallow."
